Many smartphones nowadays come along with enormous memory. But the problem which many people face is how to manage data stored on the internal memory. We use it for storing our favorite apps, images, videos, important files, presentations and many other things. In such cases, it is necessary for you to take backups. Do you take it? I bet most of you won’t be doing this! Well, there is software that comes to the rescue, called as “MobileGo for android” which will allow you to take one click backups along with hordes of other features.

Features of Wondershare MobileGo for Android:

  • One click backup and restore of data.
  • Displays complete information of the connected device.
  • Helps you to induplicate contacts.
  • Built in SMS manager allows you to send and receive messages through PC.
  • Allows converting audio and video files before importing to your device.
  • In-built file manager.
  • In-built app manager.
  • Move apps to SD card [Root required].

Installation and user interface:

Installing the software is quite easy. Just grab the exe file from their official site for your Windows/ MAC PC and install it like any other software. On your device, head over to Playstore and download MobileGo for Android. Before you start using the software, you will have to enable USB debugging option. You can do it by navigating to developer options and tick the checkbox next to “Enable USB debugging”. You can connect your phone to PC by using USB cable or through Wi-Fi.

The user interface is quite simple and you will find it very easy. If you have used PC studio by Samsung, than you will find that it uses the identical design but has more powerful functions. It uses 2 column design, left column lists out shortcuts to all functionalities whilst the right one shows the UI of each of these functions.

Online resources:

This section allows you to view various online websites like Playstore and YouTube, which you can do on any other browser. It lets you add your favorite and important websites so that you can access it later.

Organize your apps:

This option allows you to download apps directly from your desktop’s internet connection and install it on your phone! Isn’t that cool feature? I bet this will reduce your mobile bills by almost half since it will save your 3G/ 4G data costs. Moreover, you can also backup your app data with one click, which will allow you to restore your data in case you had to re-install your app. As stated earlier, you can also move apps to your SD card, but to use this feature, you will need to have rooted Android. It allows you to uninstall system apps as well.

Contacts and SMS manager:

When you select a contact, it allows you to perform various options like grouping, delete, Edit contact, flip first and last name and de-duplicate. You can even add new contacts which will be later saved to your device.

Typing messages on physical keyboard is much better than the virtual keyboard. You can directly compose messages and send it single or multiple contacts at one click. It allows you to view messages, reply/ forward them else delete them. This proves useful when you have lots of unread texts and want to reply each one of them. Moreover, it allows you to export SMS to your desktop and vice versa in case you want to restore your data after you have reset the device.

File manager:

Wondershare MobileGo for Android has in-built file manager which allows you to view, delete, create and export files to your PC. It even lets you add new folders so that you can keep everything organized. If you provide root access to MobileGo client, than you can also move system files and folders or modify them according to your needs.

This is the most important feature present in the software. It provides hordes of features that will make it easy for you to manage various tasks on your Android devices and tablets.
